Integrated 16 dBi 120° Sector
A built-in 16 dBi sector antenna with a 120° coverage pattern lets a single base station serve multiple client radios across a wide area — ideal for point-to-multipoint deployments.
airMAX AC Technology
Ubiquiti's proprietary airMAX AC TDMA protocol delivers high throughput, low latency, and excellent scalability, outperforming standard Wi-Fi in noisy, high-client environments.
Ultra-Lightweight Design
At just 420 g, the airMAX Lite AP is fast to mount and easy on poles and brackets, while the versatile ball-joint mount makes precise aiming simple.
Single-Cable PoE
One Ethernet run carries both data and power. The included 24 V passive PoE adapter keeps installation simple — max consumption is just 8 W.
Built to Survive the Elements
Rated for 200 km/h wind survivability and a wide −40°C to 70°C operating range, the LAP-120 holds up to harsh Australian outdoor conditions year-round.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive networks where supply-chain integrity is required.
What is the airMAX Lite AP used for?
The LAP-120 is a 5 GHz sector base station for point-to-multipoint wireless networks — one access point serves many client radios across a 120° coverage area.
How is it powered?
It uses passive PoE via the included 24 V gigabit PoE adapter over a single Ethernet cable. Maximum power consumption is just 8 W. It is not 802.3af/at compatible.
What antenna does it have?
An integrated 16 dBi antenna with a 120° horizontal sector pattern — no external antenna is required.
Is it suitable for outdoor use in Australia?
Yes. With 200 km/h wind survivability and a −40°C to 70°C operating range, it is built for harsh Australian outdoor conditions.
Is the LAP-120 NDAA compliant?
Yes. The airMAX Lite AP is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive deployments.
