How does motion tracking work?
When motion tracking is enabled, the TC93D automatically pans and tilts to follow a detected moving subject across its 360° horizontal and 130° vertical range. This ensures the camera stays focused on the subject rather than losing them at the edge of a fixed field of view.
Does the TC93D require a subscription to record video?
No subscription is required, but you will need to purchase a MicroSD card separately to enable local recording. An optional Tapo Care subscription adds cloud storage, extended video history, and enhanced AI detection features if required.
How far does the Wi-Fi signal need to reach the TC93D?
