No. The Tapo TC60 is designed for indoor use only and does not have an IP weather rating. For outdoor surveillance, consider the TP-Link Tapo C310 or C320WS, which are rated for outdoor installation.
Does it require a subscription to use?
No. The TC60 works fully without any subscription — live viewing, motion alerts, and local microSD recording are all free. An optional Tapo Care cloud subscription adds cloud storage and advanced AI detection features if required.
What microSD card do I need?
