It is intended for sites where salt, moisture or industrial contaminants can shorten the life of conventional metal housings. The whole installation still needs suitable mounts, fixings, cable and sealing.
How does ColorVu differ from infrared?
ColorVu uses a wide F1.0 aperture and visible warm white supplementary light to retain colour at night. Infrared cameras normally switch to monochrome in darkness.
Which lens is included?
This listing is for the 4 mm fixed-lens LS(PA) model. The lens is not motorised and cannot be changed from the camera interface.
Can it record without an NVR?
It supports a microSD card up to 256 GB for local recording. An NVR is still recommended when longer retention, central playback or multiple cameras are required.
