FSH FES20 Series · Australian footprint
High-security electric strike with field-selectable locking mode
The FSH FES20 Series is a stainless-steel mortise electric strike for hinged-door access-control installations. Both models accept 12–36VDC and allow the installer to select Power to Lock (PTL / fail safe) or Power to Open (PTO / fail secure) on site without loose pins or springs.
Choose the standard FES20 non-monitored model for straightforward controlled entry, or the FES20M fully monitored model when the access-control system needs lock, latch and anti-tamper feedback.

Installation notes
Electric strikes form part of the complete door, lock and access-control system. Door preparation, latch compatibility, wiring, operating mode and fire-door suitability should be confirmed by a qualified locksmith or access-control installer before ordering. Fire-rated use is subject to the approved door assembly and applicable project requirements.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between FES20 and FES20M?
The FES20 is non-monitored. The FES20M adds lock-status, door-latch and anti-tamper monitoring and is SCEC approved for secure areas.
Can I change between fail-safe and fail-secure operation?
Yes. Both models use FSH’s field-selectable PTL/PTO mechanism, allowing the installer to choose Power to Lock or Power to Open during installation.
Will it operate from a 12V or 24V access-control supply?
Yes. Both models accept 12–36VDC. Ensure the power supply has sufficient regulated current for the complete access-control system.
Is it suitable for fire-rated doors?
FSH states that the FES20 Series is rated for up to four hours in accordance with AS 1905.1:2015. Suitability must still be confirmed for the specific certified door assembly and installation.
