Does this include a battery?
No. The DH-PFM378-B125-CB is the solar panel, MPPT controller and pole-mount assembly. A compatible Dahua lithium battery (such as the PFM372 series) is required and sold separately to store power overnight.
What can it power?
It is designed to power Dahua 4G/Wi-Fi security cameras and low-draw accessories at off-grid sites with 12V output and a 10A rated current.
How much sun does it need?
Dahua specifies areas with daily solar exposure of more than 3.5 hours for reliable operation. Most Australian locations comfortably meet this.
Can I monitor it remotely?
Yes — with a compatible battery connected, RS-485 communication reports solar and battery status for remote monitoring.
Is this NDAA compliant?
