  • This is NOT a TiOC camera. The HFW71242H-Z-X has IR only (60 m) — no warm-light LED, no red/blue strobe, no siren, and no built-in speaker. It is a pure surveillance-grade IR bullet built around AI analytics. For active audio-visual deterrence, look at the TiOC PRO range instead.
  • Audio: external mic/speaker only. The camera has line-level RCA audio I/O (1 in / 1 out) but no built-in microphone or speaker. For two-way talk, connect an external powered mic + speaker.
  • WDR is DWDR (digital), not true WDR. Best used in scenes without extreme back-lighting; for very high-contrast scenes, look at the WizMind 5 line.
  • PoE+ (802.3at) required for full output (24.3 W max). Standard 802.3af PoE will not support the full feature set with the heater on.
  • ePoE extended-distance mode only activates with a Dahua ePoE switch or NVR. Standard PoE+ works on any third-party switch at the standard 100 m Cat5e/Cat6 range.

No. This is a pure WizMind X IR bullet with no warm-light LED, no red/blue strobe, no siren and no built-in speaker. It's built around AI analytics (face recognition, ANPR, WizMind suite), not deterrence. For active audio-visual deterrence, look at Dahua's TiOC PRO range.
What does "WizMind X" mean vs WizMind or WizMind 5?
WizMind X is Dahua's premium 7-Series AI platform — the deepest analytics suite in the Dahua IPC range. Face recognition against a 200k-face on-camera DB, ANPR with 10k plate list, PPE detection, parking space management. Above WizMind 5, above WizSense.
Does it support face recognition or just detection?
