CyberPower · Australian outlets · Battery backupThe highest output capacity in this BRICs LCD selection
The CyberPower BR1200ELCD is a line-interactive UPS rated at 1200VA / 720W. It provides temporary battery power for compatible connected equipment during a mains outage, giving you time to continue essential tasks or shut down properly.
Key features
1200VA / 720W capacity
Choose the UPS using the combined load of the equipment you want to protect.
4 battery-backed + 4 surge-only AU outlets
Put devices that must stay running on the battery-backed sockets.
LCD power status display
Check power and battery status directly on the unit.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
AVR corrects supported mains-voltage variations; battery backup takes over when mains power is interrupted.
Choose the right backup for your setup
Start with the devices that need to stay on: for example, a router, network switch and recorder. Check their power requirements, total the load and compare it with both UPS limits. If your cameras receive power from a separate PoE switch, include that switch and its camera load in your calculation.
A UPS does not provide an internet connection on its own. Internet access during a local power outage also depends on your modem, router, upstream network and service provider.
Understand the outlet layout
Four of the eight AU outlets provide battery backup and surge protection. The other four provide surge protection only and do not keep devices running during an outage.
Check before buying
This model produces a simulated sine wave on battery. Match that output to your equipment requirements. Leave ventilation space around the unit, use it indoors and follow the supplied installation instructions. Battery capacity and runtime reduce with age and operating conditions.

Frequently asked questions
What does 1200VA / 720W mean?
The UPS has two load limits: 1200VA and 720W. Your combined equipment load must stay within both. Add the power used by every device you intend to connect and allow capacity for changing loads.
How long will it keep my equipment running?
Runtime depends on the actual load, battery age and condition. The watt rating is a maximum output limit, not a runtime guarantee. Use the manufacturer runtime information for your measured load when choosing a UPS.
Can I back up CCTV cameras and a recorder?
Check the recorder, switch and power-supply requirements against the UPS ratings. For PoE cameras, both the recorder and the switch supplying camera power need backup. Powering only the recorder does not keep a separate unpowered PoE switch running.
Is this a pure sine wave UPS?
No. It uses a simulated sine wave while running on battery. Check your equipment manufacturer’s UPS requirements before buying if it specifically requires pure sine wave power.
Which sockets provide battery backup?
Four of the eight AU outlets provide battery backup and surge protection. The other four provide surge protection only and do not keep devices running during an outage.
What warranty applies in Australia?
CyberPower’s Australian product page lists a two-year product warranty and a two-year battery warranty. Keep your purchase invoice and contact CCTV Guru for warranty assistance.
