Frequently Asked Questions
Is this one 16MP image or two 4K views?
It provides two separate 8MP (3840 × 2160) channels from one camera and one IP address. Each head can be positioned independently.
Does 360° IR mean a stitched 360° picture?
No. It describes infrared illumination around the housing. Image coverage depends on the direction and zoom setting of the two camera heads.
What power supply is required?
Use IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 PoE+. Maximum consumption is 18.8 W with IR on.
Can I adjust the lenses remotely?
Yes. Both varifocal lenses support remote focus and zoom, with 2.5x zoom. Physical head direction is set during installation.
Does it record audio?
A 3.5 mm input supports an external microphone or line-level source. Two-way audio requires compatible edge-to-edge or portcast equipment.
Which recording systems can I use?
It supports AXIS Camera Station and compatible third-party VMS, plus ONVIF Profiles G, M, S and T. Confirm dual-channel support and licensing with your VMS supplier.
