How many sensors does the P3827-PVE have?Four. It uses 4 x 1/2.8" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensors, each with a fixed 3.3 mm F2.0 lens, stitched into one 7 MP panoramic image at 3712x1856.

What area does 180° x 90° actually cover?It gives a complete half-circle overview with no blind spots — ideal for car parks, forecourts, building frontages, platforms and perimeter lines. Two cameras mounted back-to-back on the AXIS T94V01C Dual Camera Mount give a full 360° view.
Does it have infrared illumination?No. There is no built-in IR. It uses an automatic IR-cut filter plus a hybrid IR filter with Axis Lightfinder, retaining colour to 0.15 lux and switching to black and white at 0.05 lux. For very dark sites, pair it with an Axis T90D series illuminator.
What PoE do I need?PoE+ — IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4. Typical draw is 12 W with a maximum of 18 W, so budget accordingly on your switch or midspan. Standard 802.3af PoE is not sufficient.
Is it rated for outdoor Australian conditions?Yes. The aluminium casing is IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10 rated with a hard-coated polycarbonate dome, tested to MIL-STD-810H, and operates from -40 °C to +55 °C with 10–100% condensing humidity tolerance.

Will it integrate with my VMS?Yes. It supports ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, and works with AXIS Camera Station Edge, AXIS Camera Station Pro, AXIS Camera Station 5 and third-party video management software from Axis partners. It also has a microSD slot and NAS recording for edge storage.
