The Hikvision DS-2CD2387G3P-LIS2UY/SL is an 8MP panoramic turret camera designed for wide areas where a normal fixed camera leaves blind spots. Its ultra-wide optical system produces a single 180°-class panoramic image, making it well suited to building fronts, broad driveways, loading docks, forecourts, shopfronts and open indoor spaces.
ColorVu 3.0, HikAI-ISP processing and Smart Hybrid Light provide flexible low-light imaging, while AcuSense person and vehicle classification, a white strobe, audible warnings and two-way audio add active deterrence. Choose white or black to suit the installation.

A conventional 2.8mm turret typically covers a little over 100° horizontally. This model covers approximately 180°, helping reduce blind spots across wide, shallow scenes.
Detailed panoramic video
The 4256 × 1888 image preserves 8MP of detail across the broad scene. It records at up to 20 fps at maximum resolution.

Is 180° coverage right for your site?

- Panoramic edge detail and object shape naturally differ from a conventional narrow camera. Mounting position and height are especially important.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Confirm the recorder supports the camera’s 4256 × 1888 panoramic stream, required bandwidth, H.265/H.265+ and smart features.
- Use an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ port with sufficient available budget, or a correctly rated 12V DC supply. A power supply is not included unless stated.
- For best panoramic stitching, keep nearby walls, posts and roof edges from blocking either side of the view.
- Two-way audio, smart-event linkage and active deterrence depend on compatible recorder/client software and correct configuration.
- This listing is the /SL white-strobe version, not the separate /SRB red-and-blue-strobe variant.

Is this a true 180° panoramic camera?Yes. It produces a single 4256 × 1888 panoramic image with a published horizontal field of view of 182.6°.
Is it better than using two normal cameras?It can be more efficient for a wide, shallow scene because it reduces the gap between views and uses one network connection. Two conventional cameras may still be better when you need independent angles or more pixels on distant targets.
Does it show colour at night?It can use white light for colour imaging. Infrared mode produces monochrome video, while Smart mode can change lighting for a configured event.
Can I talk through the camera?Yes. It has arrayed dual microphones and a built-in speaker. Compatible software or recorder support and correct configuration are required.
Can it record without an NVR?Yes. It supports a microSD card up to 512GB. An NVR is recommended for longer retention, centralised playback and multi-camera systems.
