It pairs six DS-2CD2086G2H-I2U/SL 8 MP bullets — an F1.0 super-aperture for clean low-light colour down to 0.0008 lux, 40 m Smart IR for full-dark night vision, and a white-light strobe + 110 dB speaker + two-way audio active-deterrence package — with the DS-7608NI-M2/8P 8-channel 8K PoE NVR, leaving two spare channels to grow. Yes — choose White or Black in the Camera Colour dropdown. Both are the same DS-2CD2086G2H-I2U/SL bullet at the same price.
Does the kit include a hard drive?
No. This kit ships without a hard drive — add a surveillance HDD separately from the options below the listing. The NVR takes two drives (up to 32 TB).
What is the Live-Guard active deterrence?
On AcuSense human/vehicle detection each bullet flashes a white-light strobe, sounds an audible warning through the 110 dB speaker and lets you open live two-way audio via Hik-Connect — actively turning intruders away.
Do these see colour at night?
The F1.0 super-aperture holds colour in low light down to 0.0008 lux where there's some ambient light; in complete darkness the camera switches to 40 m Smart IR (black-and-white). It is not a continuous white-light ColorVu model.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes — the 8-channel NVR has two spare channels and PoE ports, so you can grow to 8 cameras with no extra recorder.
Is this kit NDAA compliant?
No. Hikvision is not NDAA Section 889 compliant, so it isn't suitable for US-federal or NDAA-restricted projects. Ask us about alternative brands if you need NDAA compliance.
