ColorVu 3.0 — True 24/7 Colour

A 1/1.8" sensor and F1.0 super-aperture deliver full-colour images down to 0.0005 lux. Smart Hybrid Light adds white light or IR (up to 30 m) so you capture clothing and number-plate colour all night, not grey IR.

Live-Guard Active Deterrence

On AcuSense human/vehicle detection each camera flashes a white strobe, sounds a 110 dB warning and lets you talk down live via Hik-Connect — turning intruders away before they reach the door.

8-Port PoE — Plug & Play

One Cat6 cable per camera carries power and video to the NVR's 8 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies, no extra switch, commissioning in minutes.

Storage No hard drive is included. Add a surveillance-grade HDD (WD Purple / Seagate SkyHawk) to suit your retention — 4TB suits most 4-camera installs, 6TB+ for the 8MP kit or continuous recording. The NVR has two SATA bays for up to 32 TB total.
Power 8 × PoE ports built into the NVR — one Cat6 network cable per camera carries power and data, so there are no separate power supplies. Network cabling is run on site and is not included; pre-made Cat6 patch leads are available separately.

Is a hard drive included?

How are the cameras powered, and can I add more?
Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable to one of the NVR's 8 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies. The 8-channel NVR lets you add up to four more compatible Hikvision IP cameras later.
