"Z" stands for motorised zoom — this is the motorised vari-focal lens version of the 6MP TiOC 3.0 line. The fixed-lens equivalent is the 3649H-AS-PV-ANZ-S2. Is the motorised vari-focal version worth the extra cost?

Can the camera pan and tilt remotely too, or just zoom?
