Focused 13 dBi Directional Beam
The NanoBeam directs RF energy into a tighter beamwidth, spatially filtering out noise so noise immunity is improved — especially valuable in areas crowded with other 2.4 GHz signals.
airMAX ac Performance
Built on Ubiquiti's airMAX ac platform with selectable 10/20/40 MHz channels in both PtP and PtMP modes for flexible, high-throughput wireless links.
Gigabit Ethernet Backhaul
A single GbE RJ45 port removes the bottleneck of 10/100 links, letting the radio carry more usable throughput between sites.
Innovative Tool-Free Design
A built-in mechanical mount offers 20° of uptilt and up to 20° of downtilt, with reduced fasteners for quick assembly — tools are only needed to fix it to the pole. The antenna feed detaches at the push of a button.
Built to Survive the Elements
A UV-stabilised plastic enclosure with GEOMET®-coated fasteners, salt-fog and wind-driven-rain testing, and 200 km/h wind survivability keeps links up through harsh Australian conditions, from −40°C to 80°C.
UISP-Ready Management
Fully compatible with Ubiquiti's UISP platform for centralised configuration, monitoring, and management of your wireless network — with no monthly fees.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive deployments where supply-chain integrity is a requirement.
airMAX NanoBeam 2AC Radio
The NBE-2AC-13 radio with integrated 13 dBi directional antenna.
Gigabit PoE Adapter
24V, 0.5A gigabit PoE power adapter included in the box.
Pole-Mount Kit
Tool-free pole-mount hardware with built-in mechanical tilt adjustment.
Not Included
Wall and window mounts are sold separately. A second radio is required to form a link.
What is the NanoBeam 2AC used for?
It's a 2.4 GHz airMAX ac radio for wireless point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links — commonly used to connect buildings, remote sites, and WISP customers without running cable.
Do I need two units?
Yes, a point-to-point link needs one radio at each end. For point-to-multipoint, one radio acts as the access point and additional NanoBeams act as stations.
Does it include a PoE adapter?
Yes. Each NBE-2AC-13 ships with a 24V, 0.5A gigabit PoE adapter and a pole-mount kit. Wall and window mounts are sold separately.
Is it suitable for Australian outdoor conditions?
Yes. The UV-stabilised enclosure, salt-fog and wind-driven-rain testing, 200 km/h wind survivability, and −40°C to 80°C range suit harsh Australian outdoor environments.
Can I manage it remotely?
Yes. The NanoBeam 2AC is UISP-ready, so you can configure, monitor, and manage it centrally through Ubiquiti's UISP platform with no subscription fees.
Is the NanoBeam 2AC NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti confirms the NBE-2AC-13 is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive deployments.
