Long-Range Point-to-Point Links
Purpose-built for point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) bridging, the PowerBeam AC carries data reliably across long distances — ideal for linking buildings, CCTV sites, and remote properties.
airMAX ac Technology
Ubiquiti's airMAX ac protocol with TDMA scheduling boosts throughput, reduces latency, and handles noise far better than standard Wi-Fi — even in congested 2.4 GHz environments.
Focused 18 dBi Dish Antenna
The 400 mm dish reflector concentrates RF energy into a tight, high-gain 18 dBi beam, maximising link distance while rejecting interference from off-axis sources.
Dedicated Wi-Fi Management
A separate management radio lets you configure and monitor the device over Wi-Fi without interrupting the data link — making setup and troubleshooting on a tower or rooftop far simpler.
Gigabit Ethernet & Passive PoE
A single 10/100/1000 Gigabit port carries data and power over one cable. The included 24V 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter keeps consumption low at just 7.5 W maximum.
Built for Australian Conditions
Rated for 200 km/h wind survivability, a −40°C to 70°C operating range, ±24 kV ESD/EMP protection, and salt-fog tested — ready for harsh coastal and outback installs.
Strong WPA2 Security & Smart Tools
Protect links with WPA2 encryption, and tune performance with built-in airMagic® channel selection and the airView® spectrum analyzer through a redesigned HTML5 interface.
NDAA Compliant
Manufactured by US-based Ubiquiti and NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government, defence, and security-sensitive installations where supply-chain integrity is required.

Not Included
Outdoor-rated Ethernet cable is required and sold separately.
What is the PowerBeam AC used for?
It creates a long-range wireless bridge between two locations — commonly used to link buildings, backhaul CCTV, or extend a network across a property without running cable or fibre.
Do I need two units?
For a point-to-point link, yes — one at each end. A single PowerBeam AC can also act as a client connecting to an existing airMAX ac base station.
Is a power supply included?
Yes. A 24V 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter and pole-mounting kit are included. You'll need an outdoor-rated Ethernet cable, sold separately.
Is it suitable for outdoor use in Australia?
Yes. With 200 km/h wind survivability, a −40°C to 70°C range, salt-fog testing, and UV-stabilized housing, it suits coastal, rural, and high-UV Australian sites.
What channel widths does it support?
10, 20, and 40 MHz channels in both PtP and PtMP modes, with airMagic channel selection and the airView spectrum analyzer to optimise performance.
Is the PowerBeam AC NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the PBE-2AC-400 is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
