WiFi 6E with 6 GHz
Tri-band WiFi 6E unlocks the clean 6 GHz spectrum for ultra-fast, low-latency connections in congested environments — perfect for dense offices, apartments, and hospitality sites.
10 Spatial Streams
With 4×4 MU-MIMO on both 5 GHz and 6 GHz plus 2×2 on 2.4 GHz, the U6 Enterprise IW sustains high throughput across many simultaneous clients without bottlenecks.
Built-In 4-Port Switch
An integrated (4) GbE switch with (1) PoE output lets you connect desk phones, PCs, or a second PoE device directly at the wall — no extra switch required.
2.5 GbE Uplink
A 1/2.5 GbE data-in port gives the access point multi-gig headroom so the WiFi 6E radios are never throttled by the wired backbone.
600+ Connected Devices
Engineered for high-density deployments, it handles 600+ concurrent clients across roughly 115 m² (1,250 ft²) of coverage per unit.
Single-Cable PoE+ Power
Powered over PoE+ (PoE++ required to enable the PoE output) from any UniFi PoE switch — one cable for power, data, and management.
UniFi Network — No Subscription
Managed locally through the UniFi Network application or web interface — full control, advanced QoS, VLANs, and guest portals with no monthly fees.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive deployments where supply-chain integrity is required.
Does the U6 Enterprise In-Wall need a subscription?
No. It's managed locally by the UniFi Network application on a Cloud Gateway, Dream Machine, or Cloud Key — there are no monthly fees.
What do I need to power and run it?
A PoE+ source (a UniFi PoE switch is recommended). PoE++ is required if you want to use the built-in PoE output port.
Does it really support the 6 GHz band?
Yes. It is a full WiFi 6E access point with tri-band radios including the 6 GHz band for high-throughput, low-interference connections.
How many devices can it handle?
Ubiquiti rates it for 600+ concurrent clients across roughly 115 m² (1,250 ft²) of coverage per unit.
Is the U6 Enterprise In-Wall NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and this access point is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
