A DS-2DE7A425IW-AEB 4MP AcuSense PTZ with 25× optical zoom sits at the centre — it auto-tracks moving people and vehicles across the whole scene, zooming in to capture detail as a target moves. Around it, four DS-2CD2386G2-IU 8MP 4K AcuSense turrets lock down the entries, gates and fixed detail points so nothing slips past while the PTZ is tracking elsewhere. Everything records to a DS-7608NI-M2/8P 8-channel 8K NVR with Hik-Connect remote access. Ideal for yards, car parks, acreage, building sites and other wide open coverage.

The DS-2DE7A425IW-AEB locks onto a moving person or vehicle and pans, tilts and zooms to follow it across the whole scene — turning one camera into active wide-area coverage with detailed close-ups as the target moves.

Fixed Detail Where It Matters

Four 8MP 4K AcuSense turrets cover the gates, entries and choke points 24/7 so the critical spots are always recorded — even while the PTZ is tracking something at the far end of the site.

  • ›PTZ power: the PTZ pan/tilt motors and 200 m IR draw far more than a fixed turret. Run the PTZ on a Hi-PoE / 802.3at injector (e.g. the Hikvision PoE injector for PTZ) or its own 12 VDC power supply — the 8-port NVR's shared PoE budget may not reliably power a PTZ plus four 8MP turrets. Always confirm the PTZ's power class against its datasheet.
  • ›PTZ placement: mount the PTZ high and central with a clear, unobstructed view so auto-tracking can follow targets across the whole site; place the four turrets on gates, entries and choke points.
  • ›Cabling: run solid-copper Cat6 from each camera back to the NVR (or PTZ injector) for stable power and video over long distances.

How does PTZ auto-tracking work?
When AcuSense detects a person or vehicle, the PTZ automatically pans, tilts and zooms to follow it across the scene — giving you wide-area awareness plus detailed close-ups from a single camera, without anyone driving the joystick.
Does the PTZ run on the NVR's PoE ports?
It can support PoE, but a PTZ draws much more power than a fixed turret. We recommend running the PTZ on a Hi-PoE / 802.3at injector or its own 12 VDC supply so the NVR's shared PoE budget comfortably powers the four 8MP turrets. Always confirm against the PTZ datasheet.
What do the four fixed turrets do?
The DS-2CD2386G2-IU 8MP 4K turrets cover your fixed detail points — gates, doors, entries and choke points — 24/7, so those critical areas are always recorded even while the PTZ is tracking elsewhere.
Is a hard drive included?
No HDD is fitted by default so you can size storage to your retention needs. The NVR has two SATA bays (up to 32 TB total) — add a surveillance-grade drive at checkout.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes — the 8-channel NVR has spare channels and PoE ports, so you can add more Hikvision cameras as the site grows.
Is this kit NDAA compliant?
No. Hikvision is not NDAA Section 889 compliant. If you need NDAA-compliant cameras for US federal or critical-infrastructure projects, contact our team about alternative brands.
