Match the exact door station, monitor and distributor generation; the Y-series and earlier products must not be mixed on wire count alone. The indoor station’s Wi-Fi is for network/app connectivity, not a replacement for its wired intercom power/data connection.
Existing cable can be reused only after checking conductor size, cable condition, distance, polarity where applicable and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Matching the wire count alone does not establish compatibility. Locks, gate controls and their power requirements must be checked separately.
