True 4K (8MP) Detail
A 1/1.8" sensor captures 3840 × 2160 detail with the headroom to digitally zoom into recorded footage and still identify a face or number plate.
AcuSense AI — Fewer False Alarms
Deep-learning classification separates people and vehicles from animals, foliage and shadows, so only real events trigger alerts and recording.
16-Port PoE — Plug & Play
One Cat6 cable per camera carries power and video to the NVR's 16 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies, no extra switch.
Add Your Own Storage
The NVR has dual SATA bays (up to 32 TB total) and ships without a drive — add a surveillance-grade HDD from the storage options below the listing for the retention you need across sixteen 4K channels.
Use these official Hikvision tutorials to complete the recorder startup wizard and connect the supplied PoE cameras. Menu names may vary slightly with firmware version.
Does this kit include a hard drive?
No — this kit ships without an HDD. Add a surveillance-grade drive from the storage options below the listing; the NVR has dual SATA bays supporting up to 32 TB total (Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple recommended).
How does AcuSense reduce false alarms?
Deep-learning AI classifies motion as human, vehicle or other, so leaves, animals and shadows don't trigger alerts — only real events reach your phone.
How much storage do 16 × 4K cameras need?
A 4 TB drive covers roughly a couple of weeks of continuous H.265+ recording (longer on motion), while larger drives stretch to a month or more. Choose a drive from the storage options below to match your retention; the two bays support up to 32 TB total.
How are the cameras powered?
Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable to one of the NVR's 16 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies. Cat6 cabling is run on site and not included.
Can I mix in other Hikvision cameras?
Yes — the 16-channel NVR works with AcuSense, ColorVu and other Hikvision IP cameras. Talk to us to build a custom variant.
