The WizColor cameras use a 1/1.8" sensor and a built-in warm light to keep recording true full colour right down to near-darkness — so you capture clothing colour, faces and number plates at the spots that matter most.

4 × Starlight — Discreet Low-Light IR

The Starlight turrets deliver clear colour in low light and switch to silent 30 m IR in full darkness — no visible light, ideal for side passages, backyards and general perimeter coverage.

WizSense AI — SMD Plus

Deep-learning Smart Motion Detection and perimeter protection classify people and vehicles, filtering out animals, foliage and shadows so only real events reach your phone.

Power 8 × PoE ports built into the NVR — one Cat6 network cable per camera carries power and data, so there are no separate power supplies. Network cabling is run on site and is not included; pre-made Cat6 patch leads are available separately.
Storage 1 SATA bay — HDD not included. Add a surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple drive; ~4–6 TB suits six 5MP cameras for around a month of continuous recording.

What's the difference between the WizColor and Starlight cameras?
The 2 WizColor cameras keep recording in full colour 24/7 using a built-in warm light — best where you need to identify colour and faces. The 4 Starlight cameras give colour in low light and switch to silent IR (black-and-white) in full darkness, with no visible light.
Do the WizColor cameras have a visible light at night?
Yes — WizColor uses a soft warm light to keep colour in darkness. The Starlight cameras use infrared instead, so they stay discreet with no visible glow.
Does a hard drive come included?
No — the NVR has one SATA bay but ships without storage. We recommend a surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple HDD; around 4–6 TB suits six 5MP cameras for roughly a month of recording.
How are the cameras powered?
Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable to one of the NVR's 8 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies or powerpoints at the camera.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. The NVR has 8 PoE ports and you're using 6, so you can add up to 2 more cameras by plugging them into the spare ports — no recorder upgrade needed.
Is this kit NDAA compliant?
