Power 16 × PoE+ ports built into the NVR — all 16 used by this kit. Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable that carries both power and data, so there are no separate power supplies. Network cabling is run on site and is not included; pre-made Cat6 patch leads are available separately.
Mounting Included brackets suit eave/soffit installs. For brick or flush-wall mounting, add a Dahua DH-PFB204W wall-mount bracket per camera; a DH-PFA139 junction box is also available for tidy cable management.
Storage Dual SATA bays — HDD not included. Sixteen 8MP cameras generate a lot of data: fit 2 × 16 TB Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple (up to 32 TB total) for roughly 2–3 weeks of 24/7 recording; motion-only stretches this much further.

Is this kit really full colour at night?
Yes. Smart Dual Light runs IR by default, then switches to a 30 m warm-white LED the moment AI detects a person or vehicle — recording full-colour 4K footage of the event before returning to IR.
Can I turn off the white light at night?
Yes. Smart Dual Light has three modes — Smart Dual (IR by default, warm light only on AI detection), full-colour (warm light always on) and IR-only. Set IR mode for discreet black-and-white footage with no visible light.
What's the difference between the two NVR options?
The NVR4216 is the standard 16CH AI recorder with Quick Pick. The NVR5216 adds AcuPick attribute search and higher bandwidth. AcuPick only runs on the 5-Series.
Does a hard drive come included?
No — the NVR has two SATA bays but ships without storage. For sixteen 8MP cameras we recommend 2 × 16 TB surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple, available as an add-on.
