Perimeter Protection
Detects breaking glass at windows and doors, catching intrusions before entry.
Dual-Stage Sensing
Recognises both the impact and the shatter of glass for accurate, false-alarm-resistant detection.
Fully Wireless
RADION 433 MHz communication means no cabling — ideal for retrofits and finished rooms.
Flexible Mounting
Wall or ceiling install with a sliding self-locking enclosure for a clean, secure fit.
What receiver does the RFGB need?
It requires a Bosch B810 RADION receiver (or RFRC-STR2) connected to your Solution 2000/3000/6000 or compatible panel.
How does glass break detection work?
It listens for the sound of breaking glass — recognising both the impact thud and the higher-frequency shatter — then triggers the alarm.
Where should it be mounted?
On a wall or ceiling within range of the glass you want to protect, facing the windows or glass doors.
Is it wired or wireless?
Fully wireless on 433 MHz RADION — no cabling to the panel.
What battery does it use?
A single CR123A lithium battery, with low-battery supervision reported to the panel.
Why add glass break to a system with PIRs?
Glass break detection catches intruders at the perimeter before they enter, whereas PIRs only detect movement once someone is already inside.
