What cloud licence is included with the FD839-EHTV-V2?
The base model includes a 1-Year VORTEX (xPro) cloud licence. The 3-Year and 5-Year variants simply extend that same cloud licence to 3 or 5 years — the camera hardware is identical.
Do I need an NVR to use this camera?
No. It runs on VIVOTEK's VORTEX cloud platform for live view, recording, AI analytics and remote access, so no on-prem NVR is required.
What resolution and lens does it have?
5MP (2560×1920) with a 2.8–12mm motorised varifocal remote-focus lens, giving a 95.4° to 28.7° horizontal field of view.
How far does the night vision reach?
Up to 40 metres (about 131 ft) of built-in IR, with WDR Pro and the RealSight Engine to reduce motion blur.
What AI features does VORTEX add?
Cloud AI analytics including intrusion, line-crossing and loitering detection, plus AI Deep Search to quickly locate people and events across recordings.
