See detail in tricky light
EasyStar low-light processing and 120 dB true WDR keep bright doorways, driveways and shaded yards balanced and clear — day or night.
Smart AI events
On-camera human-based cross-line and intrusion detection cut false triggers from trees, rain and shadows so you only get the alerts that matter.
One-cable install
PoE (IEEE 802.3af) carries power and data over a single Cat6 run to your NVR or PoE switch — no separate power supply at the camera.
Weatherproof & tough
IP67 sealing and a metal turret body handle Australian sun, dust and downpours, with a built-in mic for scene audio and 4 kV surge protection.
Does it record in colour at night? At night this model uses Smart IR for crisp black-and-white night vision up to 30 m. EasyStar still delivers detailed low-light footage at dusk and dawn. For full-colour night vision, look at the OwlView ColorHunter (-WP) models.
Is the IPC3618LE-ADF28KM-H-BK NDAA compliant?Yes. Uniview UNV cameras are NDAA Section 889 compliant, making them suitable for government, commercial and security-sensitive sites in Australia.
What resolution does it record?True 8 MP 4K (3840×2160) at up to 20fps, with selectable 5MP, 4MP and 1080p modes at 30/25fps for smoother motion.
What lens and coverage does it have?A fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a wide ~98.7° horizontal field of view — ideal for entries, driveways, yards and small shopfronts.
How is it powered?Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6 to a PoE NVR or switch. A 12V DC option is also supported.
Does it have a microphone?Yes — a built-in mic captures scene audio alongside video (check local laws before recording audio).
Can it record without an NVR?Yes — a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) enables on-camera recording, with ANR to fill gaps if the network drops.
Which NVRs work with it?It works with Uniview UNV NVRs via plug-and-play and with most ONVIF S/G/T-compatible recorders for video and AI events.
What warranty applies? This camera ships with a 3-year Australian warranty and local CCTV Guru tech support.
