G2 Pro Touchscreen & Video Intercom
The G2 Pro reader has a 4.7″ capacitive touchscreen and a 12 MP camera (157.8° diagonal), doubling as a doorbell and two-way video intercom so staff can see, speak to and remotely unlock for visitors from the app.

What's included in the kit?
One UA-Hub-Door controller, one G2 Pro entry reader (touchscreen + camera + intercom), one G2 exit reader and two UA-Pocket keyfobs — everything you need to secure a single door with entry and exit control.
How many doors does it control?
One door, out of the box, using an entry reader (G2 Pro) and an exit reader (G2) wired to the central Door Hub. Add more hubs and readers to expand to additional doors.
How is it powered?
The UA-Hub-Door is powered by PoE++ (802.3bt) from a compatible switch or injector, and in turn powers the connected readers and lock relay over the hub's PoE-out ports.
How can people unlock the door?
By tapping an NFC card or UA-Pocket fob, tapping their phone (BLE/NFC via the UniFi Access app), entering a PIN, or scanning a QR code — plus remote unlock from the app during an intercom call.
Does the G2 Pro work as a video intercom?
Yes. Its 12 MP camera, microphone and speaker turn it into a doorbell and two-way video intercom, so staff can see and speak with visitors and unlock remotely.
Do I need a subscription or a separate controller?
There are no licence or cloud fees. You do need a UniFi console running the UniFi Access application (for example a UniFi Dream Machine Pro/SE or Cloud Key) to manage credentials, schedules and logs.
Can the readers be installed outdoors?
Yes. The G2 Pro and G2 readers are IP55-rated and UL 294 certified for indoor and outdoor wall or gang-box mounting.
