Designed for your installation

One place to review footage

Manage connected cameras and review recorded events through the VIGI recording system.

Give each camera a clear location name and check that the recorder time is correct. After commissioning, record a short test event and practise locating and exporting it so the system is ready when footage is needed.

Plan the camera network

Connect cameras through your network. Camera power requires a separate PoE switch, injector or suitable power supply.

Map the camera connections back to the recorder and router before running cables. Check the combined camera bitrate against the listed incoming bandwidth, leaving capacity for the stream settings you intend to use.

Storage you can size

Use compatible surveillance hard drives and size retention around camera count, bitrate and recording schedule. Recording duration is not a fixed number of days.

Higher bitrates, more cameras and longer recording schedules use more disk space. Decide how long footage needs to be retained, select a compatible surveillance drive and verify the recording schedule after setup.
