24/7 Full-Colour Hi-Color Imaging
Hi-Color technology keeps the picture in vivid colour around the clock. Instead of switching to grainy black-and-white at night, this camera keeps faces, clothing and vehicle colours visible — exactly the detail that matters in an investigation.
F1.0 Super-Aperture & 1/1.8" Sensor
An exceptional F1.0 lens and large 1/1.8" sensor collect far more light than typical cameras, producing bright, low-noise colour images down to 0.0005 Lux before any supplement light is needed.
White Light to 30 m
When a scene is too dark for the sensor alone, a soft white supplement light reaches up to 30 m to maintain clear, full-colour footage — steady illumination for genuine evidence, not just a flash.
Deep-Learning AI & Dual-Mic Audio
Person & vehicle classification cuts nuisance alerts from animals and weather, while a built-in arrayed dual-microphone records clear audio. 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR balances bright and dark areas.
What is Hi-Color and how is it different?
Hi-Color keeps the image in full colour 24/7 instead of switching to black-and-white infrared at night, so you retain colour detail like clothing and vehicle colour after dark.
How does it see in colour at night?
A large 1/1.8" sensor and an F1.0 super-aperture gather far more light than ordinary cameras, and a soft white supplement light fills in when the scene is too dark.
Is the white light on all the time?
It only activates when ambient light is too low for the sensor to maintain colour on its own, keeping footage bright and evidential while using light efficiently.
What does the 6 MP resolution give me?
3200 × 1800 captures plenty of detail across a wide scene, so you can digitally zoom into faces and plates while keeping the rest of the frame in view.
Does it record audio?
Yes — a built-in arrayed dual-microphone captures clear audio alongside the video where local laws permit.
What smart detection does it support?
Person & vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exiting and face capture — all powered by on-board deep learning.
How is it powered?
Over a single network cable using PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3, max 11 W), or 12 VDC if you prefer a separate supply.
Will it handle Australian conditions?
Yes — IP67 sealing and a −30 °C to 60 °C operating range handle full sun, dust and heavy rain.
What NVRs and software work with it?
It speaks ONVIF (Profile S/G/T) and pairs with any HiLook or Hikvision NVR, plus the Hik-Connect app and iVMS-4200 desktop client.
Where does a Hi-Color camera work best?
Entrances, car parks, forecourts and retail frontages where colour detail at night — faces, clothing, vehicles — makes footage far more useful.
