AcuSeek — Search Footage by Description
Powered by Hikvision's Guanlan large-scale AI model, AcuSeek lets you type what you're looking for in plain English and returns matching clips across all 8 channels in seconds — no manual scrubbing, no event tagging in advance. Image-based AcuSearch also finds every other appearance of a person or vehicle from a single reference photo.
True 4K (8MP) Evidence Detail
A 3840 × 2160 sensor on every camera captures the detail needed to digitally zoom into recorded footage and still identify a face or number plate — court-ready 4K evidence across the whole site.
AcuSense AI — Fewer False Alarms
On-camera deep-learning classification separates people and vehicles from animals, foliage and shadows, so only real events trigger alerts and recording — typically ~90% fewer nuisance notifications than motion-only systems.
8-Port PoE — Plug & Play
One Cat6 cable per camera carries power and video to the NVR's 8 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies, no extra switch. Two SATA bays accept up to 32 TB total for weeks to months of 4K retention.
What is AcuSeek and how does it work?
AcuSeek is Hikvision's natural-language video search powered by the Guanlan AI model. Describe what you're looking for in plain English — "a person in a red jacket at the front gate" — and the NVR returns matching clips across all 8 channels in seconds, no manual scrubbing.
Does the kit come with a hard drive?
The NVR ships chassis-only by default. Add a surveillance-grade HDD per bay (2 TB to 16 TB each, up to 32 TB total). We recommend Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple for 24/7 reliability.
How does AcuSense reduce false alarms?
Deep-learning AI on each camera classifies motion as human, vehicle or other, so leaves, animals and shadows don't trigger alerts — only real events reach your phone.
How are the cameras powered?
Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable to one of the NVR's 8 built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies. Cat6 cabling is run on site and not included.
Are there ongoing subscription fees for the AI?
No. AcuSeek, AcuSearch and facial recognition all run on-board the NVR — no cloud fees, no facial data leaving your premises, ever.
Is this kit NDAA compliant?
No. Hikvision is not NDAA Section 889 compliant. If you need NDAA-compliant cameras for US federal or critical-infrastructure projects, contact our team about alternative brands.
