The Dahua DHI-VTH5123H-W is a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen indoor monitor built for 2-wire video intercom systems. It talks to door stations through half-duplex video intercom and connects to your phone over Wi-Fi via the DMSS app for full-duplex calls, so you can answer the door from anywhere. With six alarm inputs, one alarm output, HDCVI camera viewing and onboard recording to micro SD, it brings genuine flexibility to a single white surface-mount panel.
Wiring: 2-Wire Hybrid
The VTH5123H-W belongs to Dahua’s two-wire hybrid system, with a wired two-conductor connection to the compatible hybrid controller. Its Wi-Fi feature is for network/app functions; it does not eliminate the intercom wiring. Do not connect the two-wire terminals to an ordinary PoE switch or assume compatibility with Dahua two-wire IP equipment.
Existing cable can be reused only after checking conductor size, cable condition, distance, polarity where applicable and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Matching the wire count alone does not establish compatibility. Locks, gate controls and their power requirements must be checked separately.
