The Dahua DHI-NVR5432-AI/ANZ-S2 is a 32-channel, 32 MP WizSense network video recorder for enterprise and multi-site surveillance. The S2 platform raises incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth to 448 Mbps, adds dual HDMI output up to 8K, doubles several recorder-side AI capacities, and supports four surveillance HDDs up to 20 TB each.

This Australia/New Zealand model has no built-in PoE; connect cameras through an external PoE switch. AcuPick is available on 4 channels when processed by the recorder, or on all 32 channels when compatible AcuPick cameras perform the AI analysis.

Faster S2 recorder platform

448 Mbps recording bandwidth

Accept, record and serve up to 448 Mbps when recorder AI is disabled, compared with 384 Mbps on the previous model. With recorder AI enabled, bandwidth is 200 Mbps.

32 MP input and stronger decoding

Supports cameras up to 32 MP and decodes up to 10 × 8 MP, 16 × 5 MP, 20 × 4 MP or 32 × 1080p streams at 30 fps with AI disabled.

Dual independent 8K HDMI

Two HDMI and two VGA outputs support independent or paired display layouts. HDMI reaches 7680 × 4320, while VGA supports up to 1080p.

Four high-capacity HDD bays

Four SATA bays accept drives up to 20 TB each for approximately 80 TB onboard, with eSATA and iSCSI available for expansion.

WizSense AI and AcuPick

AcuPick: recorder-side or camera-side

The NVR itself can run AcuPick on 4 channels. When compatible AcuPick cameras perform front-end analysis, all 32 channels can participate, with up to 32 combined targets per second.

Perimeter protection

Run human and vehicle classified tripwire and intrusion analytics on 8 channels by recorder, or all channels with compatible camera-side AI.

SMD Plus

Recorder-side SMD Plus expands to 16 channels for faster human and vehicle event filtering and fewer nuisance motion alerts.

Face detection and recognition

Four recorder-side face-detection channels plus a face library capacity of 20 databases, 30,000 images and 3.75 GB.

Video metadata

Four channels by recorder with up to 22 human and vehicle attributes, with all-channel metadata available through compatible cameras.

ANPR integration

Use compatible Dahua ANPR cameras across all channels with a 20,000-plate blocklist and allowlist database.
