WizMind 5 + HDMI
Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW5441E-ZE-HDMI — 4 MP Pro AI Motorised Vandal Dome with HDMI Output WizMind 5 Network Camera (5441 Series)
The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW5441E-ZE-HDMI is a 4 MP WizMind 5 Pro AI vandal dome built around a 1/2.7" Starlight+ CMOS, delivering crisp 2688 × 1520 video at 25/30 fps with 120 dB true WDR and Smart IR to 40 m. The 2.7–13.5 mm motorised vari-focal lens (~5× optical zoom) means you frame the scene from the app, not the ladder, and the IP67 / IK10 aluminium housing shrugs off Australian weather and vandal attempts. What sets the 5441E-ZE-HDMI apart is its rare HDMI 1.4a output at 2560 × 1440 @ 30 fps — the camera can drive a local monitor directly with no NVR or PC in line, making it ideal for "you-are-on-camera" kiosk and lobby displays. WizMind 5 Pro AI runs face recognition with an on-device database, people counting, heat map, IVS and SMD Plus, with dual built-in mics for clear audio capture. Perfect for shopping-centre kiosks, hotel lobbies, government check-in desks, club gaming-room entries, hospital reception and court greeter screens across Australia. Backed by CCTV Guru's 5-Year AU Warranty.
Why Choose the Dahua HDBW5441E-ZE-HDMI Vandal Dome
HDMI 1.4a Direct Monitor Output
Drive a 1080p or 1440p monitor straight from the camera at 2560 × 1440 @ 30 fps — no NVR, no PC. Perfect for kiosk "you-are-being-recorded" displays, reception desks and retail loss-prevention deterrent screens.
WizMind 5 Pro AI
Dahua's flagship Pro AI engine handles face recognition with an on-device database, people counting, heat map, IVS analytics and SMD Plus — pushing serious analytics to the edge.
2.7–13.5 mm Motorised Lens
~5× optical zoom with remote focus and zoom via DMSS or web UI. Frame the scene from your phone instead of the ladder — ideal during commissioning and seasonal layout changes.
Smart IR up to 40 m
Smart IR adapts intensity by distance to avoid over-exposing close subjects, holding clean detail right out to 40 m in pitch dark.
IP67 / IK10 Vandal Build
Aluminium and polycarbonate housing sealed against dust and rain (IP67) and rated against impact (IK10) — suitable for exposed entries, pub gaming rooms and high-traffic public areas.
ePoE / EoC Long Range
ePoE supports stable transmission up to 800 m over Cat6 and works over existing coax (EoC) for retrofits — cuts re-cabling cost when upgrading legacy analogue sites.
Important Install Note
HDMI 1.4a passive cable runs are practical to about 5 m — for longer pulls to a customer-facing screen, use a powered HDMI extender or HDMI-over-Cat6 balun. The output is fixed at 2560 × 1440 @ 30 fps, which any modern 1080p, 1440p or 4K monitor will accept and downscale natively. Plan conduit for both a Cat6 (PoE + data) run and the HDMI run to the display; for ceiling installs, the camera mounts directly — for wall pendant or pole, use the matching Dahua bracket. Add an inline PoE surge protector at the IDF for any outdoor or partially exposed install across Australia, and earth the bracket where possible.
AI & Smart Detection
Face Recognition
On-device face database with similarity scoring, real-time matching and snapshot capture — ideal for VIP, watch-list and staff-clock workflows at receptions and entries.
People Counting
Bidirectional counting with daily/weekly reports — track footfall through doorways, kiosks and retail entries with no external sensor required.
Heat Map
Visualises dwell density across the scene over time — great for retail layout, queue analysis and gaming-room hotspot review.
IVS Analytics
Tripwire, intrusion, abandoned/missing object, loitering, fast move and parking detection — all running on-camera with low false-alarm rates.
SMD Plus
Smart Motion Detection Plus only triggers on humans and vehicles, eliminating wind, rain and animal false alarms across long-recording AU sites.
Privacy Masking
Up to four configurable privacy zones — useful for blocking neighbouring property, cash-handling areas and protected workstations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this camera NDAA compliant?
No. Dahua is not on the NDAA-approved manufacturer list. If your site has NDAA §889 procurement requirements, please consider an alternative brand.
What does the HDMI output actually do?
It lets the camera drive a connected monitor directly with its live video feed — no NVR, no PC, no decoder in between. You plug an HDMI cable from the camera to a screen and the screen shows the live image at 2560 × 1440 @ 30 fps.
Can I run camera and HDMI display from one cable?
No. The Cat6/PoE run carries power and data to the network/NVR; the HDMI run is a separate cable to the local monitor. Plan conduit for both.
What resolution can the HDMI output?
HDMI 1.4a at 2560 × 1440 @ 30 fps. Most modern 1080p, 1440p and 4K monitors will accept and downscale this signal natively.
Will face recognition still work while the HDMI screen is showing?
Yes. AI processing and the network stream run independently of the HDMI output — you get the live "you-are-on-camera" display and the full Pro AI metadata to your NVR/VMS at the same time.
Do I need a special monitor?
No. Any standard HDMI monitor works. For long cable runs beyond ~5 m, use a powered HDMI extender or HDMI-over-Cat6 balun.
Can I use it in standard NVR setups without HDMI?
Yes. The HDMI port is optional — you can ignore it and use the camera as a standard ePoE / ONVIF stream into any Dahua NVR or third-party VMS.
How big is the face recognition database?
The on-device database supports several thousand face entries with snapshot, similarity score and watch-list grouping — suitable for medium reception, VIP and staff-clock workflows.
Indoor or outdoor?
Both. IP67 / IK10 with a −40 to +60 °C operating range covers exposed entries, undercover walkways and indoor lobbies across Australia.
What warranty applies?
5-Year AU Warranty handled locally by CCTV Guru — standard across the Dahua WizMind 5 / 6 Series in Australia.
