For a true 360° hemispheric view the EBW81242-AS-S2 must be ceiling-mounted, ideally at 2.5–3.5 m — lower heights tighten the field, higher heights shrink detail. Wall-mounting changes geometry to a 180° panoramic view, which is useful for corridors and entryways. Dewarping can be done in-camera or on a compatible Dahua NVR.
