The DH-IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-ANZ-BLK combines detailed 4K video, human and vehicle detection, two-way audio and red/blue warning lights in a compact black turret. Its wide-angle 2.8 mm lens suits driveways, entrances, shopfronts and building perimeters where you want to see what happened and respond to an event.

Key Features
4K detail across a wide view
Capture up to 3840 × 2160 video with a 106° horizontal view. Choose the mounting position around the target distance: a wide view provides coverage, but does not guarantee identification at every distance.
Smart Dual Illumination
Use discreet infrared illumination, or configure warm-light colour capture when a relevant target enters the scene. Both illuminators are rated up to 30 m under suitable conditions.
Alerts focused on people and vehicles
SMD 4.0 and perimeter rules help filter unwanted motion. Set tripwire and intrusion zones around the areas you need to protect, then test them on site.
Visible and audible deterrence
Link the red/blue warning lights and sound alarm to configured events. Use appropriate schedules and volume settings for your property and neighbours.
Talk to visitors remotely
Dual microphones and an integrated speaker support two-way communication through compatible Dahua software. Remote access requires network setup and an internet connection.
Flexible recording and simple PoE
Connect one Ethernet cable to a suitable PoE port, then record to a compatible NVR or an optional surveillance microSD card up to 256 GB.
Recommended Setup and Accessories
- Confirm recorder compatibility, camera position and the required viewing distance before installation.
- Connect to an 802.3af PoE source using an appropriate 8ware Cat6 patch lead. Use protected routing; an indoor patch lead is not a substitute for outdoor-rated fixed cabling.
- Activate the camera with a unique password, set the correct time and configure recording, alerts and DMSS access.
- Add an optional WD Purple SC QD101 surveillance microSD card for local recording. Choose 128 GB or 256 GB for this model.
- Test night lighting, detection zones, audio and recordings before completing the installation. Weatherproof all cable connections.
Dahua lists DH-PFA137 as the optional junction box; select its black option for a matching finish. Other listed mounting components include DH-PFA109, DH-PFB220C and DH-PFA152-E. These are alternative or combined mounting components, not items every installation needs. Ask us to confirm the complete assembly for your surface.

Is this the S2 or TiOC 3.0 model?
No. This listing is the original DH-IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-ANZ-BLK in black, with a 1/2.8-inch sensor and up to 256 GB microSD storage. Check the separate S2 listing if you need the later model.
Does it record in colour at night?
The camera combines infrared and warm-light illumination. In Smart Dual Illumination mode it can use infrared normally, then switch to warm light and colour video for a configured target event. Colour capture depends on scene lighting and settings.
Can I hear and speak through the camera?
Yes. Built-in dual microphones and a speaker support two-way talk using compatible Dahua software and a correctly configured network.
Which memory card can I use?
Use a surveillance-grade microSD card up to 256 GB. The WD Purple SC QD101 128 GB and 256 GB options are within the stated capacity limit. The card is sold separately and must be initialised in the camera.
Is a power adaptor included?
