What does Penta-brid mean?
The XVR accepts five signal types on each channel — HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP. You can run existing coax cameras and modern IP cameras on the same recorder, which makes it an easy upgrade from an old analogue system.
Can I connect IP cameras too?
Yes — it supports up to 32 IP channels (each up to 8MP) in addition to the 16 BNC inputs, with 128 Mbps incoming bandwidth.
Does it include a hard drive?
No — it has two SATA bays but ships without storage. Add surveillance-grade WD Purple or Seagate SkyHawk drives sized to your camera count and retention.
What AI features does it have?
WizSense SMD Plus (up to 16 ch), IVS perimeter protection (up to 2 ch) and face detection (up to 2 ch), plus smart search to jump straight to events.
Can I view it remotely?
Yes — free DMSS app (iOS/Android) via P2P, no static IP or port forwarding required.
Is this recorder NDAA compliant?
