Does this NVR have built-in PoE ports?Yes. The NVR501-04B-P4-IQ has 4 built-in PoE ports, so you power and connect up to four IP cameras directly from the recorder — no separate PoE switch needed. Each port delivers up to 30W, with 50W available across all four.
How many cameras can it record?Up to 4 IP channels, with 80 Mbps of incoming bandwidth — plenty of headroom for high-megapixel cameras on a small site.
What's the maximum storage?The single SATA bay takes a drive up to 24TB, which is weeks of continuous recording from four cameras. Drives are sold separately.
What resolution can it record?Up to 16MP per channel in Ultra 265, H.265 or H.264, so it's ready for 4K and higher-resolution Uniview cameras.

Does it work with third-party cameras?Yes, via ONVIF Profile S, G and T. Smart-by-NVR functions like Face Detection and SIP also run on a limited number of standard third-party channels.
Can I view it remotely?Yes. P2P cloud access through the Uniview UNV app and EZCloud lets you watch live and recorded footage from your phone or computer anywhere.
