How does the 180° view work?The 1.68 mm panoramic lens captures a full 180° horizontal sweep with built-in dewarping for a flat, usable image — ideal for covering everything from far-left to far-right in one view.
Is the IPC3608SB-ADF16KM-I0 NDAA compliant?Yes. Uniview UNV cameras are NDAA Section 889 compliant, making them suitable for government, commercial and security-sensitive sites in Australia.
Does it record in colour at night?This is an IR model: it delivers colour in daylight and lit scenes, then switches to Smart IR for crisp black-and-white night vision up to 20 m in darkness. For full-colour night vision, choose a LightHunter or warm-light model.
How many cameras does it replace?One 180° OmniView camera typically replaces two standard 90° cameras, saving on cabling, NVR channels and install time.
Where is the best place to mount it?Mount it on flat walls or above wide entrances. It is designed to capture a full building frontage, fence line or car park in a single view.
How is it powered?Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6 to a PoE NVR or switch. A 12V DC option is also supported.
