Two built-in microphones pick up sound over a wider area with two-way audio and alarm I/O, while heatmap analytics (with a management platform) show how people move through a space.
What does a fisheye camera do?It gives 360° coverage of a whole area from one ceiling-mounted camera — no blind spots — so a single fisheye can replace several fixed cameras over a room, reception or forecourt on one PoE cable.
How do I get normal, un-warped views?Through dewarping. On a Uniview NVR or the client you can view the scene as 360°/180° panorama or as up to eight virtual PTZ windows — 11 display modes in total, chosen to suit how the camera is mounted.
Where should I mount it?Ceiling for a full 360° overhead view, wall for a 180° panorama, or on a desk/table. The available view modes adjust to the mounting position you choose.
Does it see in the dark?Yes — Smart IR reaches up to 10 m, and 120 dB true WDR keeps detail visible in high-contrast scenes like doorways and windows.
Does it have audio?Yes. It has two built-in microphones for wider sound pick-up and supports two-way audio, plus 1-in/1-out audio and alarm connections (check local laws before recording audio).
Can it record without an NVR?Yes — a MicroSD card up to 256 GB enables on-camera recording, with ANR and NAS (NFS) support, so it can run standalone or alongside a recorder.
How is it powered?Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6, or a DC 12 V supply. It draws up to 8.5 W.
Which recorders work with it?It works with Uniview UNV NVRs via plug-and-play and with most ONVIF (Profile S/G/T) recorders. A Uniview NVR or client is needed for the multi-view dewarping features.
