Built for Australian conditions

True full-colour at night

OwlView ColorHunter, a large 1/1.8″ sensor and an ultra-fast F1.0 lens keep faces, number plates and clothing colours visible after dark — not just black-and-white.

Smart warm-light deterrence

Auto warm-light LEDs reach up to 30 m, lighting the scene in colour and quietly signalling that the area is watched and recorded.

One-cable install

PoE (IEEE 802.3af) carries power and data over a single Cat6 run to your NVR or PoE switch — no separate power supply at the camera.

Weatherproof & tough

An IP67-rated housing handles Australian sun, dust and downpours from −30 °C to 60 °C, with a built-in mic and a choice of white or black finish.

Frequently asked questions

Does it record in colour at night?

Yes — this is an OwlView ColorHunter camera. Its large 1/1.8″ sensor, F1.0 lens and smart warm-light LEDs deliver true full-colour images at night up to 30 m, rather than black-and-white IR.

Is the IPC3628LE-ADF28K-WP NDAA compliant?

Yes. Uniview UNV cameras are NDAA Section 889 compliant, making them suitable for government, commercial and security-sensitive sites in Australia.

What is ColorHunter / OwlView?

OwlView ColorHunter combines a large sensor, an ultra-fast F1.0 lens, Wise-ISP processing and warm-light LEDs to keep footage in full colour after dark.

Are the warm-light LEDs always on?

No — they operate in smart/auto mode, switching on only when light levels fall, so the scene stays in colour without running the LEDs needlessly.

What lens and coverage does it have?

A fixed 2.8 mm F1.0 lens gives a wide field of view ideal for entries, driveways, yards and shopfronts where night colour matters.

How is it powered?

Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6 to a PoE NVR or switch — no separate power supply at the camera.

Can it record without an NVR?

Yes — a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) enables on-camera recording, with ANR to fill gaps if the network drops.

Which NVRs work with it?

It works with Uniview UNV NVRs via plug-and-play and with most ONVIF-compatible recorders for video and events.

What warranty applies?

This camera ships with a 3-year Australian warranty and local CCTV Guru tech support.
