Does it record in colour at night?Yes — LightHunter lets this camera hold detailed, low-noise colour in very dim conditions. When light drops below usable levels it switches to Smart IR for crisp black-and-white night vision up to 40 m.
Is the IPC3618SS-ADF28K-I1 NDAA compliant?Yes. Uniview UNV cameras are NDAA Section 889 compliant, making them suitable for government, commercial and security-sensitive sites in Australia.
What is LightHunter?LightHunter is Uniview UNV's low-light technology that combines a sensitive sensor and smart processing to deliver brighter, clearer colour images at night than standard cameras.
What lens and coverage does it have?A fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a wide ~97° horizontal field of view — ideal for entries, driveways, yards and shopfronts.
Does it have smart detection?Yes — line-crossing and intrusion detection with human/vehicle classification reduce false alarms, and it also supports people-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring for retail and events.
How is it powered?Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6 to a PoE NVR or switch. A 12V DC option is also supported.
Can it record without an NVR?Yes — a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) enables on-camera recording for standalone or backup storage.
Which NVRs work with it?It works with Uniview UNV NVRs via plug-and-play and with most ONVIF-compatible recorders for video and AI events.
