Carrier-Class airMAX ac Performance
Ubiquiti's airMAX ac technology delivers 500+ Mbps of real outdoor TCP/IP throughput with low latency — ideal for long-distance PtP backhaul and high-capacity PtMP sectors.
Dedicated airPrism Spectral Filtering
A separate airPrism™ active RF filtering radio isolates signals in congested environments, dramatically improving co-location performance at busy tower sites.
Scales to 50+ Clients
A single Rocket 5AC Lite sector serves 50+ airMAX clients, making it a cost-effective hub for wireless ISPs, estates, and multi-building campuses.
Flexible PtP & PtMP Modes
Deploy as a Point-to-Point backhaul bridge or a Point-to-MultiPoint base station — one radio covers both roles for maximum versatility.
Pairs with airMAX ac Antennas
Mounts directly to Ubiquiti airMAX ac sector antennas and RocketDish reflectors for tailored coverage and range, from wide sectors to focused long-haul links.
Simple Gigabit PoE Install
Powered over a single Ethernet run via the included 24V Gigabit PoE adapter — no separate power supply at the tower, with full management through airOS.
Managed in UISP & airOS
Configure, monitor, and maintain your links from airOS and Ubiquiti's UISP platform — with airControl-style oversight and no recurring licence fees.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive deployments where supply-chain integrity matters.
Rocket 5AC Lite (R5AC-Lite)
5 GHz airMAX ac BaseStation radio unit.
Gigabit PoE Adapter
24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE power adapter included.
Mounting Hardware
Mounting strap and screws for antenna attachment.
Not Included
An airMAX ac antenna (sector or RocketDish) and Ethernet cable are required and sold separately.
Does the Rocket 5AC Lite include an antenna?
No. The R5AC-Lite is the radio only. You pair it with an airMAX ac sector antenna for PtMP or a RocketDish reflector for PtP links, sold separately.
What's the difference between the Lite and the Prism version?
Both share airMAX ac and airPrism technology. The Prism (Rocket 5AC Prism) adds higher-performance filtering for the most congested, co-located tower environments.
How is it powered?
Via the included 24V Gigabit PoE adapter — a single Ethernet cable carries both power and data to the radio.
Can it run Point-to-Point and Point-to-MultiPoint?
Yes. The Rocket 5AC Lite supports both PtP backhaul and PtMP base-station modes, configured in airOS.
Is the Rocket 5AC Lite NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the R5AC-Lite is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
