airMAX ac Performance
Ubiquiti's proprietary airMAX ac chipset delivers high throughput, low latency, and scalability for demanding PtP and PtMP wireless networks — built from the ground up for ISP-grade deployments.
airPrism RF Filtering
Integrated airPrism active RF filtering rejects interference and isolates signals in high-density, co-located tower sites — letting you stack more radios without performance loss.
Full 2.4 GHz Coverage
A single radio delivers complete coverage of the 2.4 GHz spectrum (2412–2472 MHz worldwide) with flexible channel-bandwidth configuration, subject to local Australian regulations.
Dedicated Management Radio
A separate 5 GHz management radio keeps configuration and monitoring traffic off the data link, simplifying remote administration of tower sites.
Rugged Outdoor Build
A die-cast aluminium enclosure, ESD/EMP protection to ±24 kV, and a wide −40°C to 80°C operating range keep links online through tough Australian conditions.
Pairs With airMAX Antennas
Dual RP-SMA waterproof connectors plus a GPS port let you pair the Rocket with a RocketDish for PtP backhauls or an airMAX Sector for PtMP — with GPS-synced timing.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant and US-manufactured by Ubiquiti — suitable for government, defence, and security-sensitive Australian installations.
What is airPrism technology?
airPrism is Ubiquiti's active RF filtering that isolates and rejects interference, allowing multiple radios to be co-located on dense tower sites without degrading performance.
Does the Rocket Prism 2AC include an antenna?
No. The Rocket is the radio only. Pair it with a RocketDish (PtP) or an airMAX Sector antenna (PtMP), sold separately, via its dual RP-SMA connectors.
Is a power supply included?
Yes. A 24V, 0.5A gigabit passive PoE adapter is included in the box to power the radio over a single Ethernet cable.
Is it suitable for outdoor use in Australia?
Yes. The die-cast aluminium enclosure, ±24 kV ESD/EMP protection, and −40°C to 80°C range suit demanding Australian outdoor tower and rooftop installs.
Is the R2AC-PRISM NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the Rocket Prism 2AC is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
