Description
The 6 GHz band introduced with Wi-Fi 6E is less congested than 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, delivering lower latency and higher throughput in environments with many wireless devices. The Archer TXE70U unlocks this band for any USB-equipped desktop or laptop, without requiring a PCIe slot or opening the case.
Connecting via USB 3.0, the adapter supports the full suite of Wi-Fi 6 technologies — OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and 1024-QAM — alongside the additional throughput of the 6 GHz band. A high-gain external antenna base provides stronger, more directional signal reception compared to compact dongle-style adapters, making it well suited to larger rooms or environments with significant wireless interference.
Driver installation is required on Windows. The adapter is backward compatible with Wi-Fi 6, 5, and earlier routers and access points.
