Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Archer TBE400E compatible with Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E routers?
Yes. The Archer TBE400E is backwards compatible with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and older standards. You'll get the best performance when paired with a Wi-Fi 7 router.
Does it work with Windows 10?
Yes, the adapter supports Windows 10 (64-bit) and Windows 11 (64-bit). macOS is not currently supported.
Can I use the 6 GHz band in Australia?
Yes. The 6 GHz band is approved for use in Australia under ACMA regulations. You'll need a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 router that also supports the 6 GHz band to take advantage of it.
Does the Archer TBE400E fit in a small form factor (SFF) PC?
The card itself is low-profile PCIe x1, but the external antenna base connects via cable, so antenna placement is flexible. Confirm your case has a PCIe x1 slot available before purchasing.
Is Bluetooth included?
Yes. Bluetooth 5.4 is built into the adapter — no separate Bluetooth dongle required.
What's in the box?
Archer TBE400E PCIe adapter, 4× external antennas, magnetic antenna base, antenna extension cable, low-profile bracket, and quick installation guide.
