Unlike a standard desktop drive, the DT02-V family is tuned for always-on, write-intensive video recording. Its 3.5-inch SATA format makes it suitable for compatible DVR and NVR recorders, while efficient power use and low acoustic output support quiet installations.
Will it work with my recorder?The drives use a standard 3.5-inch SATA connection. Check your DVR or NVR documentation for its maximum supported capacity before ordering.
How much storage do I need?Retention varies with camera count, resolution, frame rate, compression, recording schedule and scene activity. Select a larger capacity when longer retention is required.
Does every capacity support 32 cameras?Toshiba rates the DT02-V Series for up to 32 HD camera streams. Actual capability depends on recorder configuration and stream bitrate.
