How fast is the cellular connection?Each LTE Cat 6 modem delivers up to 300 Mbps. Run both together with load balancing and you can reach combined speeds of up to 600 Mbps.
How many SIM cards does it take?Two Mini SIM (2FF) slots with automatic failover and carrier switching, so you can keep two networks ready and switch seamlessly when one drops out.
Does it have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?Yes. Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2, MU-MIMO) up to 867 Mbps operating as AP or client, plus Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy.
How many Ethernet ports are there?Five Gigabit RJ45 ports — one WAN and four LAN — all 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDIX.
Can it be powered over Ethernet?Yes. It accepts 9–50 VDC and passive PoE-in (Mode B) on LAN1. Note this is passive PoE, not 802.3af/at/bt.
Does it support GPS tracking?Yes. Built-in GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS, with NMEA 0183, geofencing and NTRIP for positioning and asset tracking.
Is it suitable for harsh environments?It uses a full-aluminium IP30 case rated -40 °C to +75 °C with DIN-rail mounting. For exposed outdoor sites, install it in a weatherproof enclosure.
What warranty applies in Australia?The RUTX12 carries a 2-year (24-month) warranty, backed by local Australian support.
