Reliable 4G failover
4G LTE Cat 4 (up to 150 Mbps down) with 3G and 2G fallback keeps sites online, and dual SIM auto-switching covers weak signal, data limits, roaming and carrier outages without a site visit.
Wired & wireless in one
Four 10/100 Ethernet ports plus built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 (access point or client) connect cameras, PCs and IoT gear directly — no separate switch or access point needed.
Secure by design
RutOS firmware with OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier and more, plus a hardened firewall, attack prevention and WPA3 Wi-Fi security for safe remote access.
Manage your whole fleet
Teltonika RMS delivers zero-touch provisioning, monitoring and firmware updates across thousands of devices, even on private or dynamic-IP SIMs.
What mobile speeds does the RUT951 support? It uses a 4G LTE Cat 4 modem rated up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, with automatic 3G and 2G fallback where LTE coverage is thin.
How does dual SIM failover work? Two Mini SIM (2FF) slots auto-switch on weak signal, data limits, roaming, no network or a failed data connection — keeping the link up without manual intervention.
Does it have Wi-Fi?Yes. Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n) runs as an access point or client for up to 100 connections, with WPA3 security and captive-portal hotspot support.
How many Ethernet ports are there?Four 10/100 RJ45 ports — one WAN and three LAN — so you can wire cameras, a NVR or PCs directly without an extra switch.
Can it be powered over Ethernet?Yes. It accepts 9–30 VDC and passive PoE-in (Mode B) on LAN1. Note this is passive PoE, not 802.3af/at/bt standard PoE.
Is the RUT951 good as a backup WAN?Absolutely. Use the WAN port as primary and 4G as automatic failover, or run 4G as the main link with dual-SIM redundancy — both are configurable in RutOS.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?The RUT951 is rated IP30 for indoor or enclosure mounting. For exposed sites, install it inside a weatherproof cabinet.
Can I manage it remotely?Yes. Teltonika RMS plus the built-in VPN suite let you monitor, configure and update the router remotely, even on private or dynamic-IP SIMs.
What warranty applies in Australia? The RUT951 carries a 2-year (24-month) warranty, backed by local Australian support.
