IDIS DA-JB2500 — Camera Junction Box
The IDIS DA-JB2500 is the official die-cast aluminium junction box designed to mount directly under IDIS Lite Series dome and turret cameras. It conceals the Cat6/PoE cable joint inside a fully sealed enclosure, provides extra physical protection at the wall or ceiling interface, and gives Australian installers the clean, professional finish expected on commercial, retail, education and government CCTV projects.
Manufactured in Korea from ADC12 die-cast aluminium with a white powder-coat finish to match the IDIS camera body, the DA-JB2500 stands up to UV, salt-spray, dust and temperature swings — making it the go-to junction box for exposed eaves, awnings, and concrete soffit installs.

Do I really need a junction box?
Strongly recommended for any exposed outdoor install. The junction box hides the RJ45 termination, protects the cable joint from UV/water, gives a clean install finish and adds tamper resistance.
