In the DS-KIS703Y-P kit, the DS-KV8103Y-IMPE2 door station is powered by the matched DS-KH6320Y-WTPE2 indoor monitor over the two-wire connection. The monitor needs its specified 24 V DC / 1.5 A supply. This topology is not a standard PoE connection or a universal two-wire distributor system. Check lock current and startup requirements against the door station’s rated output.
Existing cable can be reused only after checking conductor size, cable condition, distance, polarity where applicable and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Matching the wire count alone does not establish compatibility. Locks, gate controls and their power requirements must be checked separately.
The kit pairs the DS-KV8103Y-IMPE2 2MP door station with the DS-KH6320Y-WTPE2 7" indoor monitor and a DS-KABV8103-RS surface mount. Answer calls from the touchscreen or Hik-Connect app, view the entrance live, and release a lock directly from the door station's built-in 12 V power output — subject to the lock’s power and startup requirements.
