DS-KAD706-P — Gen2 2-Wire Distributor + AU Power Adaptor
The Hikvision DS-KAD706-P is a 2-wire IP distributor bundle for Gen2 2-wire intercom systems. It powers and connects door stations and indoor stations over a simple two-wire cabling topology, and ships with an AU power adaptor ready to install.
Wiring: 2-Wire IP
DS-KAD706-P belongs to Hikvision’s two-wire IP intercom platform. Match the exact door station, monitor and distributor generation; the Y-series and earlier products must not be mixed on wire count alone. Do not treat the two-wire terminals as a standard Ethernet PoE connection.
Existing cable can be reused only after checking conductor size, cable condition, distance, polarity where applicable and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Matching the wire count alone does not establish compatibility. Locks, gate controls and their power requirements must be checked separately.
Six 2-wire cascade interfaces supply device power, while two further cascade ports allow expansion with additional DS-KAD706 / DS-KAD706-S distributors.
